Are you failing and despairing in your attempt to get your ex back? If you say yes, then let me tell you that it can be done! You can win him or her back if only you use the right techniques. Generally, most people did something contrary to the appropriate tactics and rather than pull their ex back, they drive their ex even further away from them! You will never get your ex back and lose him or her forever if you make these five common mistakes.

1. Beg your ex: begging is one mistake that most people can easily make when they need their ex back right after a breakup. Actually, if you plead your ex to take you back, he or she will be filled with pity for you and not love. It will make you seem desperate and make you appear that you have no pride in yourself and no sense of your own worth.

2. Pursue your ex: do not chase after your ex everywhere he or she goes or overwhelms him or her with phone calls and text messages. If you think that pursuing will make him or her love you again, you are wrong. Moreover, clinging and being desperate are much more likely to push your ex away rather than attract him or her. You need to be strong and live life on your own. Keep your desperation behind closed doors.

3. Become a loner: you should keep in mind that the world has not ended with the breakup. You can look at things from a different viewpoint by having your daily activities with a company, going out with your good friends and having fun. You can also reacquire your self-confidence and show your ex that you are ready to move on by having a date with some other people occasionally.

4. Not groom yourself: if you let yourself go completely after a breakup, it means that you allow your ex to believe that the breakup made you feel so lousy. It will never attract him or her. What you should do is to take good care of your health and your appearances. Join the gym workout routines at a health club near you and follow a diet, if you need to. Eat healthy foods and have nice dresses. Show your ex that the breakup did not affect you at all.

5. Not respect his or her space: you may need to contact your ex right after the breakup. Even so,you should completely cut the communication with your ex at least for a while. Give him or her sometimes. Allow your ex to realise how his or her life will be without you. If all goes well, your ex lover will understand how important your relationship was. Be mysterious and disappear from his life. He or she will desire to know where you are, what you are doing and whether you have found someone else. Do you believe that curiosity is a great aphrodisiac? Within a short time, he or she will start asking your mutual friends about you, calling you and trying to meet you in person.

Love Relationship Advice 3 Common Traps to Avoid For A Healthy Long Term Relationship

4764479735 fccc0cc0ab m Love Relationship Advice 3 Common Traps to Avoid For A Healthy Long Term Relationship

Love relationship advice is for those who found someone to love but find it tough to keep that love alive. Finding someone to love is not always easy, witness the tremendous growth in online dating sites designed to make finding love easier; but to maintain the relationship is where the real work comes in.

Whether you found your love interest at a church social, an online venue, or by cruising the bar scene, that someone special caught your eye and you were intrigued enough to find out more about him or her.

Chances are that the two of you were putting your “best foot forward” as they say in your appearance and behavior while you were getting to know each other. Over time, it is not only difficult to always be looking and acting your best, but the familiarity of the relationship can even breed boredom.

Couples who wish to maintain the relationship need to connect on a more sincere level than just the superficial beginnings of your meet up and dating. This love relationship advice is geared toward transitioning into a long term, happy and rewarding relationship for both of you.

There are many pitfalls you can encounter as your relationship progresses, and this usually happens slowly enough that you do not even realize it is happening. Knowing what to watch out for can help you avoid them.

Here are 3 common traps you want to avoid so you can maintain the spark and attraction between you.

1) Having unrealistic expectations of your mate. When you first meet you really do not know that much about the other person, but if you are attracted to them give them credit for being “perfect” – innocent until proven guilty, you might say.

Over time you learn their foibles and short comings that everyone has and some of these will annoy you. It may even anger you that he or she is not perfect like you hoped.

You need to understand that as they forgive your imperfections, you need to forgive theirs. Work on your own character flaws for both your benefit and theirs, certainly. Do not be more critical of them than you want them to be of you.

2) Not communicating effectively. Everyone is wired differently on this, and certainly men differently than women. There is going to have to be give and take; you both may even need to expand your comfort zone in how you express your feelings.

Do not be afraid to talk about your feelings with your partner, especially if something is bothering you enough that it is interfering with your relationship; even making you consider break up.

Always do so in an non confrontational manner and maintain your cool, even if he or she does not.

3) Mistaking sex for love. Over time you will find the physical side of the relationship at odds with the emotional side. They are not the same. Some make the mistake of thinking a lapse in the bedroom component is a sign that the love is no longer strong.

Women and men do not see the same connection between love and sex. Women see the one as just one way of expressing the other. Men may see sex as an expression of their masculinity and the womans interest as an indication of her love for him.

When this issue gets confused in can lead to hurt, anger and stress on the relationship. That is when the communication needs to kick in and the both of you discuss, calmly, just what is going on in your minds.

A lot of things change as we age, both physically and with the complexity of our lives. These changes affect each partner differently and as tensions increase it takes patience and understanding to work them out.

This is perfectly normal.

RelationShip Advice?

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 4 years, we both are 21 and Its better than its ever been but i feel like we do the same things over and over. I actually dont have a problem with that but i dont want him to get bored. The winter is here but i wanted to know some suggestions of things that we could do. Movies, games anything??? iDont really like going out too much the weather is realy bad here. Any suggestions i would realli appreciate..Thankx

Answer
Cooped up indoors during the winter can be a real challenge. Do you two play music and sing songs together? How about games? My lady and I do jigsaw puzzles – not the impossible ones, but several thousand piece puzzles that take days to do.
Practice just being together, being quiet. Talk a little, cuddle, just looking out a window at the world.
Do you do the stuff of life together? Like cooking?
Taking up serious personal/relationship growth study together can really fend off boredom. I strongly recommend “The Five Love Languages” and John Gottman’s “The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work”.

Divorce Settlements – Five common mistakes you must avoid to obtain a positive result

4188084128 9a385ef1f7 m Divorce Settlements – Five common mistakes you must avoid to obtain a positive result

Negotiating your separation agreement can be one of the most trying, costly, and long-lasting events in your lifetime. Just like our transition to colder weather, a change in attitude and mindset can enhance your chances of a faster and financially positive divorce settlement.

To be better informed and able to make the tough decisions that come along in the process, take a step back and avoid these common mistakes.

Assuming your divorce will be fast and not costly

Depending upon your selection of a divorce attorney or mediator, the amount of assets at stake, the amiability of the partners, etc., your divorce can cost more money and take longer to settle than you may think. For most couples, the whole process can take one to two years. The cost can range from several hundred dollars to several thousand, even if you do not go to court (which can cost at least $30,00 plus for each spouse).

At first blush, splitting the family financial pie would appear to be a fairly simple task. An equitable property division and each spouse’s divorce rights would lead you to believe that each partner would walk away with half of what was shared by two.

This mathematical formula does not consistently work in divorce. Spouses have unequal salaries and income potential. Many times, families live beyond their means; there may not be enough money to go around. These factors, along with the typical “hanging on to each dollar” can elongate the process, which leads to additional time and mounting costs.

Selling out your future

Your final decisions concerning which assets you are keeping will have an impact on your immediate future and long-term goals. What are the hidden expenses (maintenance, income taxes, etc) of the assets you may want? Will you have enough money to pay your bills? What financial assets will you have to face unexpected costs and meet long-term goals (e.g. college costs, retirement, etc.)?

Trading away long-term options (e.g. retirement accounts) for short-term needs (desires) may not be in your best interest, and may lead you to sacrifice tomorrow for what you may want today.

Ignoring Income Taxes

Income taxes will affect most of the major financial aspects of the divorce settlement. Generally speaking, the transfer of property pursuant to a divorce is a nontaxable event. But that changes if you subsequently sell the property; and you will be solely responsible for paying the tax on all of the gain (profit) earned from the time you and your spouse originally purchased it.

Consider carefully how you will file you tax returns while you are in the process of creating a separation agreement. Although there are non-financial considerations, the Married Filing Separate filing status normally yields the highest overall tax rate. Filing Head of Household usually produces the least amount of tax.

You will also want to review the tax implications of alimony and child support, dependency exemptions, and various tax credits that are associated with the custody of the child.

There are ways to minimize the income tax affect and take advantage of tax laws, so you need to be aware of the tax consequences of these transactions.

Not protecting your financial interests

Maybe you’ve been married for 10, 15, 20, years or more. It’s difficult to think about separate accounts or removing your spouse’s name from charge cards. The reality is you are at risk any time you hold a joint interest in, or have responsibility with, or are financially dependent upon your ex-spouse.

What happens in the future if your former spouse defaults on payments, becomes disabled, goes bankrupt, or dies? You should consider these possibilities that could have a significant impact on your financial position, and take appropriate measures to protect your interest (and that of your children).

Not recognizing “A bird in hand…”

You may have to weigh decisions like this: What do you want, the Lexus worth $35,000 or the mutual fund worth $30,000? Do you want lifetime payments that begin at age 65 (or if and when your spouse retires) or $300,000 today?

Keep the phase in mind, “a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.” In divorce situations, this axiom usually holds true. Let’s take a look at the Lexus. Sure it may be worth $35,000 now, but what will it be worth next year? If you really need cash, how much could it be sold for? The mutual fund is liquid now, will most likely increase in value, and provides a cushion for those unexpected expenses.

What about that retirement income? It sounds secure, but you may have to wait 20 or 30 years to receive the payments. It may be wiser to take the cash now, make prudent investment decisions, and build your own retirement nest egg.

In my experience, it is difficult for divorcing partners to see beyond the day in front of them. Avoiding these mistakes by obtaining the divorce advice of a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst can help you maintain your financial status and minimize the risk of financial loss.

Breakups Have a Common Theme Finding Love in Your Relationship

Categories:  get over a break up
Tags: , , , , ,

You probably think that once your relationship is over, you don’t have a chance to get your ex back. However, you should know right now that there is always a possibility to get your ex back. You probably think your situation with your ex is unique when in actuality, all breakups have a common theme: something was amiss in the relationship. How do you know if you can get a second chance with the one you thought would always be there for you?

Keep in mind that nearly ninety percent of relationships that end have a chance of working out. It’s not an impossible feat to deal with. Many of them are happily reunited.

That’s not to say that specific situations aren’t as difficult in dealing with and coming back from but the real truth of the matter is the only thing holding these people back are themselves. Their insecurities, vulnerability and fear of hope keep them from going after who they really want to be with. They don’t want to be hurt anymore.

It’s okay to feel scared and even nervous. You don’t want to feel the loss another time, another failure. Yet, this should never stop you from taking steps to solve any problems you have and put your life back together again. What is your biggest obstruction? It’s your feelings. You can’t let your emotions control you but you shouldn’t lock them away and never feel again.

Even though people say their situation is different, the reality is that on the inside of the relationship, the breakup reason is the same. Can the relationship be salvaged for some of them? Yes, they can but there are breakups where the couple realizes they are just not meant to be. This is usually never one sided though. Remember that a relationship ends because something is missing. It is up to you and your ex to find out what was missing.

A relationship usually ends because someone feels it is lacking something special. However, all you need to do is find it because it is still there. If you want a chance to get your ex back, you need to look deep and past the relationship stress you are feeling. Remember, something was between you both, all you need to do is find it deep down.

What are things I can do to get over a breakup?

It sucks because I work seasonal construction jobs and right now im not working, so I have way too much time to think about it, this was my first serious relationship and I just cant stand that there’s nothing I can do, our relationship is unrepairable so now I have to get over her. What are some ways or what can I do to get over someone I love? I would really appreciate any tips, advice, or personal experiences from people who have gone through this. Thanks in advanced

Answer
I’m sorry that you are going through this. I’m going through the same thing. I work at a library and since it is a very quiet environment, I find myself thinking about my ex.

It is a very terrible feeling but the only way to truly and fully heal is time. And that sucks because you don’t know how long it’ll take.

Since you have a lot of times on your hands, I suggest taking up some new hobbies or fully working on ones you have interested in. Take yourself out- to the movie, museum, concert or whatever you like. Have a understanding friend listen to you and don’t keep it all in! I’m not trying to stereotype, but many guys have an tendency to put on smiley faces and internalize their pain and it will cause even more emotional pain because you’re not letting your feelings be known. Also hang out with your boys and have a guys night out drinking or something.

It IS ok to cry, if you feel the tears start welling up in your eyes. Take this breakup as an opportunity to become a new and better YOU and be re mindful that your old self belong in the past, like your past relationship. When you take the time to focus on you and your goals, eventually it will get better and you will be happier and that happiness will reflect a much better life without your ex.

The 3 Common Mistakes Made After a Breakup

Categories:  get over a break up
Tags: , , , ,

When you are going through a breakup, the feelings associated with it can be quite dramatic. Your mind thinks to all the things that happened and all you want to do are to win your ex back and fix the relationship. However, there are three mistakes you need to avoid making during the initial breakup period.

Heartbroken people typically do several things without realizing that they are doing it, tarnishing their chances at winning their ex back. However, there are three things that really ruin a chance at getting your ex back when all you want to do is get them back. Here are what you need to avoid to win back your ex: the pity party, drunk dialing and text message terrorism.

Relationship Makeup Mistake Number (1) – The Pity Party

What is a pity party? It’s pretty self explanatory actually. This happens when a person who was dumped lets themselves go, emotionally and physically. They refuse to deal with life and refuses to do anything fun. They would rather sit on the couch and watch television all day long, perhaps crying that they lost their significant other. How can you stop or reduce the chances of a pity party? You need to still live life like you did before the relationship started. If you stay in this frame of mind, you only hurt yourself.

Relationship Makeup Mistake Number (2) – Drunk Dialing

How does drunk dialing begin? First, you start to drink to dull the pain of the breakup. Then, you drink far beyond your normal levels and before you know it, you’re drunk. Then, you decide to call your ex. Now you need to know that alcohol and pain are never a good combination so what you say can be very bad. You decide to make the phone call and tell him or her how much you love them, how you can’t live without them and how you wish they would give you a second chance. As soon as you leave the message or sober up, you realize that leaving that message was the worst thing you could have done.

Relationship Makeup Mistake Number (3) – Text Message Terrorism

Text Message Terrorism is quite similar to drunk dialing. Yet, you can’t excuse the behavior on alcohol because you are usually sober when you do this. What is it? It’s when you overwhelm their phones and e-mails, begging them for another chance. You may think that this helps you but it only hinders your chances or getting them back.

You don’t have to worry should you have succumbed to one or two of these breakup mistakes. If you want to win your ex back, you need to immediately stop what you are doing and come up with a plan that can help you do this.

Save marriage – Resolving Common Marriage Problems

Categories:  saving your marriage
Tags: , , , ,
4636324734 52698e8f30 m Save marriage – Resolving Common Marriage Problems

Unless a person has a different intention, nobody will want to be married for just a few years, a few months or worst, a few weeks. “Till death do us part” is what all married couples hope to fulfill. This hope can become hopeless if couples are unable to resolve some very common marriage problems which should not even exist in the first place. Some of these common problems can be itsy-bitsy but if they aren’t solved, they can become big and complicated. And when a married couple isn’t doing much to save their marriage, they may end up filing for a divorce which is uncalled for.

So what are these common marriage problems?

1. Finances

When couples get married and live together, money will get involved. Shelter, renovation, transportation, survival and many other areas require the use of money. Problems can surface due to certain reasons like;
• Tight budget which add up to their stress.
• Who should be paying for what.
• One party is unable to get money from another party.
• Conflict when managing savings
• Others.
So when a loving couple is unable come to a compromise or an agreement on how to manage their finances, they may end up quarrelling over the issue day in day out till the day they decide to go separate ways.

One effective way to solve the problems is to put both incomes into one account. Don’t manage your finances separately like husband should pay for this while wife will pay for that. I hate to say this but I cannot see true love exist in a married couple who manage their own finances. Both of you are married; you should live as one and work as one. If you are afraid of being cheated of your money by your spouse, then why bother getting married in the first place? Tight budgets can be stressful but if both of you could go through thick and thin, I am sure your relationship can become stronger.

If only one party is working, then both husband and wife would have to come to an agreement with the use of the finances.  It can be quite difficult to be fair for both your spouse and you at times; hence some give-and-take may have to be applied here. When your way of using the money is backed by good reasoning and benefits both parties, I am sure your spouse would agree with you.

2. Personality

Some personal behaviors which you dislike may display when both of you start to stay together. You may not like the way your spouse mess up the house, you may oppose to his or her way of using the toilet or even itsy-bitsy things like leaving toothpaste cap half on can be an eyesore to you.

You have to keep in mind that both you and your spouse had led separate lives for many years before the marriage. To change in the style of doing anything can be very difficult. You don’t expect him or her to change the habits in a short period of time, so it will be smarter to change your spouse’s “bad habits” gradually. The fact is it takes a lot of time and patience to change his or her personality. If you think you cannot do it, then you simply have to accept him or her as it is.

3. Cheating Spouse

You may not like this but fidelity is a common marriage problem and what makes it worst is that it can be very complex in dealing with such problems. Fidelity is a grave mistake because it means a cheating spouse has betrayed his or her partner’s trust. This marriage problem can be complicated because if your spouse is cheating on you, you may come out with all sorts of reasons as in why he or she has cheated on you. Is it that your spouse has lost interest in you? Is it that you are not spending enough time with your spouse? Is it that the other man or women is much more attractive? The reasons can go on and on and your marriage problems can get more and more.

We know that most fidelity cases end up with divorces. To save your marriage, the party who committed the mistake has to put in a lot of effort to seek for the spouse’s forgiveness. It can be tough but you just have to do it if you want your spouse back. It takes a lot of sincerity, time, love and apologies before you can see some positive results.

If you are the one who has been hurt, you need to be forgiving. It may not sound as easy as it is so do give yourself some time to cool down before you think it over. Getting over such problems can be devastating but if you are still placing hope on your spouse, you simply have to let the time mend your broken heart. Forgive your spouse if you are willing to and get on with your marriage life.

These common marriages problems can caused strained relationship with your spouse. To save your marriage, both husband and wife have to be committed in identifying the problems and come out with the solutions. Learn to listen and learn to communicate effectively, always be patience in dealing with the marriage problems.
