Many a romance have begun purely on the power of a smile.  Yet with this simple act, it’s odd to see how many women simply can’t get it right.  The problem many women face as they set out to flirt with a guy is that they try to adopt someone else’s way of flirting.  So if you’re trying to smile at a guy the way your friend does, there’s a good chance her style simply doesn’t work on you.  What usually ends up happening in this scenario is you look phony and fake.

Trust that your own smile is attractive and keep it warm and genuine.

Then add to this some friendly eye contact.  Look around you and occasionally rest your eyes on the man of interest.  Whether he immediately looks your way or not, don’t stare, but casually glance away.  You don’t want to be caught staring should he suddenly turn to you and if he’s already met your gaze, you don’t want to stare him down.   Keep that warm smile on your lips, let it reflect in your eyes, then continue looking around you.  Repeatedly return to his gaze, perhaps widening your smile and holding the gaze longer until he realizes that your smile is meant for him.

When he comes to speak to you add a light touch to your flirting.  Lean into him and pat his shoulder or chest as he says something funny.  Touch his hand as you try to get a point across.  You can even get up close and speak directly into his ear if the noise around you permits it.

Chicken: A game between friends or a flirt (guy only plz)?

I am very small for my age and at a pool party, some guys asked me to be on their shoulders for chicken. I’m not very good looking (I’m really flat chested). The 2 guys that asked me are my friends. Were they flirting with me or just treating my like a friend? :}
