This guy flirt with me a lot but he has a girlfriend?

Okay there is this guy in my math and computers class who flirt with me. It got to the point where I thought he was going to ask me out. Then in computers today this kid sitting next to me who sits next to him was asking about his girlfriend. Like who she was and how long they
were going out. And then he said her name and that they were going out for 1 month. What do i do because i kinda like him but ive never had a boyfriend?! By the way I am in 8th grade.
